Landlord Renovation of Apartment Kitchens

The apartment complex owner approached RMW to help them refresh their dated apartment kitchens. Covid-19 had greatly increased their vacancy rates and they wanted to act quickly to renovate unoccupied units and attract new tenants.

We finalized two options that balance clean lines and timeless design. Renters range from young tech workers in Silicon Valley to retirees, so the owner wanted kitchens that did not lean on current trends and appealed to a variety of ages and design preferences.

The first option is a bit more traditional with crown molding, shaker cabinets, white marbled stone countertops and backsplash, and black accents. The second option has an accent color subway tile backsplash, black stone countertops, and sleek cabinetry with pull tabs.

The kitchens will be renovated in units throughout 14 apartment buildings.
